I do however know his two sisters - who loved him more than words can say.
When I woke up this morning to the news that Ryan lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis my heart broke for the entire McLaughlin family. My first thoughts were - if only there was something I could "do" to help them in this horrible time.
Well there is something we can all do! Ryan's final expenses are resting on the shoulders of his family - and at a time when there is so much hurt and pain the last thing a parent should have to worry about is money.
Many of you know Heidi Bennett as the administrator from Twilight Facebook, or Ashley from her articles in Fashion Fair PDX.....but today they are sisters who have lost their beloved brother.
As you hug your family today - maybe you can find it in your heart to help the McLaughlin's with a small donation to help defray the costs of expenses.
Remembering Ryan --
I didn't know you, but I know your sisters, and I know what they told me about you. From Rambo saving Barbie, to the sweet man you grew into I know they will miss you. I wish I had had the chance to meet you face to face. We'll take care of Heidi and Ashley for you - Rest in Peace.
